About Tom + Captain
Tom and Captain was started by a dog and a human nearly 10 years ago.
The Tom part is a human, the Captain part was a leggy Weimaraner and we also have an amazing team of experienced dog Adventurers.
We pick up dogs from homes and workplaces within inner Melbourne, take them away to locations their owners may not have time to go Monday to Friday.
Tom and Captain is not your average dog walking business, we take dogs on adventures, meaning off-lead, multi-terrain jaunts. Not just walks around the block. We take small dogs, big dogs and everything in between on daily adventures. As all our adventures are off lead and the dogs dictate how active they are on the adventure.
We started taking dogs on adventures 10 years ago when Captain was young because he needed just that. He needed to swim, explore and be a dog. We let dogs be dogs. There is only one true dog adventure business in Melbourne and thats us, the original Tom + Captain Dog Walking Adventures.
Captain tragically died in 2021 from cancer.
In early 2022 Hans joined Tom and the team as an apprentice adventurer.
